Front Desk Agent

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Key Requirements:
-Applicants should have strong interpersonal and administrative skills
-General knowledge of the Town of Banff and its surroundings
-Processing cash and credit payments
-Flexible work schedule
-Criminal Record Check
-Proper phone etiquette
-Familiarity with property management systems a plus
-Ability to complete light maintenance duties if needed
-Organised and detail-oriented

-Register and process guests and their assigned rooms
-Accommodate guest requests efficiently and professionally
-Collect payment for room charges and other fees
-Make and confirm reservations
-Provide local information, and assist with tour bookings
-Various clerical tasks

– Candidate should have an eye for detail when assessing quality of their work
– Requires minimum supervision
– Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
– Will train new employees but experience is an asset.

– Clean guest rooms and bathrooms
– Make beds, dust, vacuum and replenish towels and amenities
– Help in the breakfast room as required
