The annual SnowDays festival is a highlight of the winter season, where Banff invites visitors to embrace the cold, vigour, and fun that winter brings.

Snow Sculptures

View giant snow sculptures at Banff Ave Square, Banff High School Field, Mt. Norquay and Sunshine Village Ski Resort. Sculptures will be gone January 28 so get out while you can!

International Snow Sculpting Competition
Bear Street
Jan. 17 – 19
Watch snow sculptures come to life as six teams compete in the International Snow Sculpting Competition. Sculptures will be gone January 28!

Snow Sculpture Street Party

Cheer on the snow sculptors as they finish their competition masterpieces in the Bear Street festival area.

SkiBig3 invites kids of all ages to try out skiing, snowboarding or tubing with certified instructors from SkiBig3. Ski equipment available for kids only.

TRIBUTE TO CRAFT SPIRITS FESTIVAL: Cocktail Menus

TRIBUTE TO CRAFT SPIRITS FESTIVAL: Discovery Event

A 2-day outdoor tasting event celebrating the best of Banff and Lake Louise’s craft cocktail culture. Sample spirits from craft distilleries, unique cocktails featuring local ingredients, and food bites from the Banff food scene.

IMPORTANT TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
Bear Street will be closed between the entrance of Brewster’s Mountain Lodge Parkade and the 200-block parking lot starting Monday, January 14th. The Street will re-open on Tuesday, January 29.

Access to half of the 200-block parking lot and Brewster’s Mountain Lodge parking will not be affected.

SHUTTLE AND TRANSIT INFORMATION
• Free shuttles are available on January 19, 20, 26 and 27 from 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. between Samson Mall and Upper Lake Louise parking area. They return approximately every 20 minutes. Wait times will increase during peak visitation from around 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
• Shuttles start at Samson Mall at 10:30 a.m. and the last shuttles leave Upper Lake Louise parking area at 6 p.m.
• Parking is limited. During peak visitation, day visitors will be required to park in the village and take shuttles, so plan and time your visit accordingly.
• Sorry, no pets allowed on the shuttles.
• New ROAM Regional Route between Banff and Lake Louise, now available.
