August is an exciting time in Banff National Park. There is so much to see and do in the beautiful summer weather. Below is a shortlist of things happening in August that you might want to check out during your stay.
The Banff Farmer’s Market
The Banff Farmers Market is held every Wednesday in the summer. This year the market will be held in the Central Park parking lot. Vendors offer everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to artwork.

The Banff Gondola Sunset Festival
The Banff Gondola transforms their rooftop terrace into a sunset viewing haven to celebrate Banff’s most special time of day. Sample craft beer and taste delicious bites from savoury to sweet. Add interpretive storytelling and live music by local artists, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for an evening to remember!
When: Every evening from 7PM to 10 PM

The Banff Centre for the Arts
The Banff Centre is a Global leader for the arts, culture, and creativity. We are so fortunate to have them in Banff. They have so many interesting musical and arts performances happening in August. Please visit their website to see what’s happening during your stay.
